WHY WE DO IT
There is a tremendous need for Montana residents to get tested for HIV, especially those in high-risk populations.
Federal and state assistance for HIV/AIDS support has drastically decreased while the cost of living and medications have increased.  Though new medications have greatly extended the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS,  the cost of many of these medications is astronomical and is simply out of reach for many.
Even with state and federal funding programs the need for many basic services for people living with HIV/AIDS remains unmet.
AIDS Outreach exists to fill the gap of unmet needs by providing support groups,  transportation assistance to and from medical appointments, grocery vouchers, companionship and hope.
